Happy Eire Day

Mama says I'm Irish and Daddy says I'm Jewish too. Irish, Jewish-- that's a lot of ishism and I think that makes me even more cooler than ever.

Here's a very ishismatic picture of my family (Zeus wouldn't join so try to imagine a gray cat next to Mama).

And you know, you can kiss me anytime-- on the cheek though, thanks!

Open Milk

Whenever I want milk from Mom, I tap her, point at her chest and say, "open milk."

Every time I see a picture of me, I'll grin silly and say, "me me baby."

When I know I am funny I simply sign, "funny."

When I was stuck today at some expo with my Mom-- her and her DST chatting length drove me crazy, I told her, "home, car bye-bye now!"

I even can tell Aunty Cat to leave the meeting she had with some teachers. I do this by forcing her face to look into mine by yanking her chin towards me and then wave, "bye bye!" to the person she just talked to. I mean, it's really obvious that I think they need to shut the heck up so we can get out of here.

Whenever I drop things or cannot reach them, I go over to who ever is closer and say, "uh oh help!" I always get help, no matter what.

I think my Uncle John is silly that I call him a "clown."

Out, open, close, knock knock, spider, apple, finish, more, lights off, lights on, fan, bath, bed, no, cat, dog, bird, duck, horse, cow, more, finish, water, drink, fish, train, helicopter, cars, dirty, thrash it (dirty stuffs into trash can), washing machine, music, poo poo, shirts, pants...

oh yes, I am a little manipulative boy-- you see, Mama was sneaking chocolate M&M's into her mouth... instead of demanding for one like a typical little brat would, I gently sauntered over, rested my head on her shoulder, petted her head and gave her a lovingly stare with the cutest smile I could evoke... then I slowly raised my arms and extended my index finger-- rising it into the direction with an attitude of, "Mom, I know you have them chocolates and it's not very nice to eat something I cannot have so, you must share--- oh and, I love you."

I won, twice.

Ok. The point of this post? Sign language rocks, simply put.

I had some chocolate, went to the zoo and can say choo choo

Howdy, again! Yup, posting sooner than normal-- got lots to share.

First of all, chocolate rocks. I love it as much as my mom but not as obsessively as her! Anyway, she deserves all the chocolate in the world (as long as she secretly shares some with me).

I had my first taste few weeks ago. Mama handed me a piece of Kit Kat-- just the insides without the coating of the chocolate, she says it's way too much for me. At first, I politely declined and merrily went on playing with my trains and cars. Mom continued to "stuff" it in my face and I reluctantly nibbled. The next thing I know, I tossed my cars and trains onto the floor and made a beeline to Mama asking for more.

She gave me a little more and said it was all gone, "bye bye," while I wild-eyed implored for more. I couldn't find any and believed my Mom. Back to cars and trains until I started smelling something sweet-- I quickly looked up and saw my Ma's head buried in her magazine... I, again, ran over and whacked the magazine onto my Mom's face and frantically signed, "MORE! MORE!"

She let out a belly laugh and gave me more... and said it was all gone (it was for real).

Since then, I've been hooked. Ah, I spun a little story for the following pictures captured by Aunty Cat.

DSC_0412

Busted! I had chocolate pudding, thanks to Cousin Mally who secretly shared it with me under the dining table.

DSC_0402

Mally asks me if I want some more.

DSC_0416

Of course I wanted more.

DSC_0429

Although short lived, it was worth every lick; which is why I'm stuffing my paci into the container in hope it'd marinate my paci.

DSC_0478

The aftermath of chocolate pudding lingers... because see the cool glow from the sunlight? It's actually a special effect, my personal one, by smudging chocolate pudding on Aunty Cat's expensive lens, tee hee.

After some fun, I get to have a real meal while I lounge in my own chair.

Speaking of ownership, I've learned how to feed myself yogurt in the quickest way. At first, I'd dip the spoon and suck, sloppily, and then drink it out of the container. I do get messy sometimes- not as much as I would few months ago.

IMG_1087.JPG

I can eat all by myself, I'm observing what I should do... dip-suck or drink?

IMG_1089.JPG

Dip-suck it is.

When I get tired and cranky but don't want to sleep-- been fighting those morning naps lately-- I'd just ask for the choo choo movie and lie down on my mattress with my Gordon train and watch for awhile (10 minutes tops) before I start playing again.

IMG_1090.JPG

Watching a short show about Toby the old train.

IMG_1093.JPG

This is my OWN train set, I no longer have to go to a store and play there-- because it's right there at my own adobe. When I wake up in the morning, I sign, "choo choo train" and promptly crawl off the bed and walk over to my own world. I even have a helicopter named after my Grandpa East, Harold, and I can sign helicopter too, it's a neat sign too!

Okay, enough trains and cars... let's move onto something fun we did this weekend as a family. Daddy took us all to Happy Hollow and there, they had a zoo with all kinds of animals. I even got to pet some and went on my first two rides. I rode on a dragon-like train and a not-so-very-merry-go-around ride. I'll get to that later but first, let's get to the fun part.

IMG_1107.JPG

Yup, me petting a Donkey!! He let me pet him because I was charming.

I pet goats, fed them and even slapped them rumps... they didn't mind as much as Zeus would've.

IMG_1111.JPG

Whee!

IMG_1112.JPG

Yup, I independently fed a goat and it didn't bite me, wowee.

IMG_1121.JPG

Family picture in front of the boars' pen.

IMG_1140.JPG

My first ride ever, the Dragon Ride. I actually signed, "Dragon Choo Choo!" It's a fun sign, you try it!

IMG_1129.JPG

Not sure what to make of the ride on the Dragon but as my hair was whipping in the wind, I stared with fascination and wished I could touch its face. I admit, I was brave as long as Mom or Dad held me.

IMG_1152.JPG

I played around in a colorful maze that also had a slide. Daddy followed me around to make sure no other wild big kids would run over me... I can't wait to run as fast as they did.

IMG_1153.JPG

We went on this thing... Dad took me while Mom waited outside the ride. I tell ya, it looked a little bit busy and confusing even when it just sat there.

IMG_1154.JPG

[look carefully, I'm frantically trying to climb my Dad]

I freaked out and screamed when I saw Mommy's face pass by me slowly (I have no idea why she was smiling so big and waving at me)-- when I screamed, the ride quickly stopped and everyone said, AWWWW. Aww what?! It wasn't funny or cute, I really did NOT like that ride. Merry-go-around my rear end!

Anyway... today I went swimming with my Cousins and we all walked to the Park near my home. It was a lot of fun but then the sun got too much. My Parents said I got my first sunburn, although minor, today. Mom says my cheeks look like it was smudged with red paint like you'd see those footballers with black paint on their face.

Here's one more picture of me, a self portrait in some ways because this is what I look like when I'm getting tired...

Paci + Rubbing my shirt = Ready for sleep.

Yawns... good night ya'all!

Mommy says I am such a boy...

I love to stack things, organize, play with my trains and make vrooming sounds with cars. Mom says it is such a boy world and my Parents love watching me play.

IMG_1059.JPG

Stacked 11 cans all by myself [[mother's note: actually, when he went back to the kitchen to get more, I hid few cans so he could come back and stack more without toppling them onto his head]]

IMG_1060.JPG

Trains, trains and trains! Choo Choo! I have my Henry and Salty.

IMG_1077.JPG

IMG_1070.JPG

IMG_1072.JPG

IMG_1064.JPG

vavaroooooom (I finally managed to make vrrooming sounds without spitting all over myself)

IMG_1066.JPG

My new little car, it is sooooo cool!

IMG_1067.JPG

Acheeeo!

IMG_1068.JPG

been super busy so just gonna go on picture mode :)

IMG_0927.JPG

We swam, yup we sure did, and the water was warm-- the best part about living in California, the weather!

IMG_0930.JPG

Wheee! I can't wait for summer!

DSC_0399.JPG

Don't I look all grown up?

DSC_0403.JPG

While Aunty Cat was snapping away pictures, Uncle John "Clown" was being super silly so, I signed, "funny!" thus this picture (sometimes I accidentally stick the finger up my nose, ouch!).

Elk with glasses

Trying my best to copy Uncle Clown!

DSC_0496.JPG

Orange's my color, no?

DSC_0444.JPG

"Uh oh!" I love saying it, I even sing it in different tunes.

DSC_0442.JPG

Uncle Clown thinks it's funny too and copies me. We're a duo.

IMG_0906.JPG

Pondering and posing like some serious dude-- I even look good doing this. Thanks Megan and Kaitlyn for the stylin' pants.

IMG_0894.JPG

We went to a park and I chased ducks, tried to take a bath at the big tub filled with green water... I actually ran towards it screaming, 'bath! bath!" Mommy caught me and wouldn't let me go in the tub :(

IMG_0885.JPG

Family picture... see big tub in background? Duckies got to go in, not fair.

DSC_0009

I love Zeus, the kittie, but she sure is grumpy, she makes those weird hissing and rowr! sounds and she stings sometimes.

IMG_0923.JPG

"Come on monkey, follow me! I got something cool to show you!"

IMG_0915.JPG

"see all those white thingy, Monkey? I found a box under the sink and put it all over the apartment. Not only it's cool, it's fun to chew."

IMG_0919.JPG

"What??" (eek, I got caught)

IMG_0921.JPG

"So??"

IMG_0924.JPG

"Ok, okay! Is THIS fine to play with and are you gonna quit following me Aunty Cat and stop laughing at me??"

Okay now I'm done blogging and going to go off and play with my trains... choo choo!
