I had some chocolate, went to the zoo and can say choo choo

Howdy, again! Yup, posting sooner than normal-- got lots to share.

First of all, chocolate rocks. I love it as much as my mom but not as obsessively as her! Anyway, she deserves all the chocolate in the world (as long as she secretly shares some with me).

I had my first taste few weeks ago. Mama handed me a piece of Kit Kat-- just the insides without the coating of the chocolate, she says it's way too much for me. At first, I politely declined and merrily went on playing with my trains and cars. Mom continued to "stuff" it in my face and I reluctantly nibbled. The next thing I know, I tossed my cars and trains onto the floor and made a beeline to Mama asking for more.

She gave me a little more and said it was all gone, "bye bye," while I wild-eyed implored for more. I couldn't find any and believed my Mom. Back to cars and trains until I started smelling something sweet-- I quickly looked up and saw my Ma's head buried in her magazine... I, again, ran over and whacked the magazine onto my Mom's face and frantically signed, "MORE! MORE!"

She let out a belly laugh and gave me more... and said it was all gone (it was for real).

Since then, I've been hooked. Ah, I spun a little story for the following pictures captured by Aunty Cat.

Busted! I had chocolate pudding, thanks to Cousin Mally who secretly shared it with me under the dining table.

Mally asks me if I want some more.

Of course I wanted more.

Although short lived, it was worth every lick; which is why I'm stuffing my paci into the container in hope it'd marinate my paci.

The aftermath of chocolate pudding lingers... because see the cool glow from the sunlight? It's actually a special effect, my personal one, by smudging chocolate pudding on Aunty Cat's expensive lens, tee hee.

After some fun, I get to have a real meal while I lounge in my own chair.

Speaking of ownership, I've learned how to feed myself yogurt in the quickest way. At first, I'd dip the spoon and suck, sloppily, and then drink it out of the container. I do get messy sometimes- not as much as I would few months ago.

I can eat all by myself, I'm observing what I should do... dip-suck or drink?

IMG_1089.JPG

Dip-suck it is.

When I get tired and cranky but don't want to sleep-- been fighting those morning naps lately-- I'd just ask for the choo choo movie and lie down on my mattress with my Gordon train and watch for awhile (10 minutes tops) before I start playing again.

Watching a short show about Toby the old train.

This is my OWN train set, I no longer have to go to a store and play there-- because it's right there at my own adobe. When I wake up in the morning, I sign, "choo choo train" and promptly crawl off the bed and walk over to my own world. I even have a helicopter named after my Grandpa East, Harold, and I can sign helicopter too, it's a neat sign too!

Okay, enough trains and cars... let's move onto something fun we did this weekend as a family. Daddy took us all to Happy Hollow and there, they had a zoo with all kinds of animals. I even got to pet some and went on my first two rides. I rode on a dragon-like train and a not-so-very-merry-go-around ride. I'll get to that later but first, let's get to the fun part.

IMG_1107.JPG

Yup, me petting a Donkey!! He let me pet him because I was charming.

I pet goats, fed them and even slapped them rumps... they didn't mind as much as Zeus would've.

IMG_1111.JPG

Whee!

IMG_1112.JPG

Yup, I independently fed a goat and it didn't bite me, wowee.

My first ride ever, the Dragon Ride. I actually signed, "Dragon Choo Choo!" It's a fun sign, you try it!

IMG_1129.JPG

Not sure what to make of the ride on the Dragon but as my hair was whipping in the wind, I stared with fascination and wished I could touch its face. I admit, I was brave as long as Mom or Dad held me.

IMG_1152.JPG

I played around in a colorful maze that also had a slide. Daddy followed me around to make sure no other wild big kids would run over me... I can't wait to run as fast as they did.

IMG_1153.JPG

We went on this thing... Dad took me while Mom waited outside the ride. I tell ya, it looked a little bit busy and confusing even when it just sat there.

IMG_1154.JPG

[look carefully, I'm frantically trying to climb my Dad]

I freaked out and screamed when I saw Mommy's face pass by me slowly (I have no idea why she was smiling so big and waving at me)-- when I screamed, the ride quickly stopped and everyone said, AWWWW. Aww what?! It wasn't funny or cute, I really did NOT like that ride. Merry-go-around my rear end!

Anyway... today I went swimming with my Cousins and we all walked to the Park near my home. It was a lot of fun but then the sun got too much. My Parents said I got my first sunburn, although minor, today. Mom says my cheeks look like it was smudged with red paint like you'd see those footballers with black paint on their face.

Here's one more picture of me, a self portrait in some ways because this is what I look like when I'm getting tired...

Yawns... good night ya'all!
