ballooooooons!

Mama got me this neat pumpkin balloon and it has been floating around our adobe for almost two weeks now. Few days ago I declared my love for pumpkinalloon by signing it. My Parents think it is cute. To show you why they think it's cute... check out this quick clip:

Right now I can say Mama, Papa, milk, airplane, bye bye, hello!, cat and of course, balloon.

My Aunt Cat is neat too. She took a lot of fabulous pictures of me and Mama has a hard time deciding which one to frame. I confess, I cannot get enough of my own self, thanks to Aunty Cat and her great photo shooting skills.

Me and Granddaddy, he's really funny and tall!!

This personally is my Mama's favorite- she told me so- and I must add, this cute striped outfit I got? Daddy got that. He has really good taste (obviously!).

Mama and me in our car-- I'm squealing in delight because I see Aunty Cat with her surgically connected camera.

Uhmm, am I too obvious in advertising for Aunty Cat? Well, why not, right? She takes care of me when my Parents are working their butts off-- why cannot I do the same for her, big grin. Anyhoo-- here are some of the pictures by her and be sure to check out her lovely website here and it should be updated soon, be sure to keep a look out for pictures of me there!

Have a great October guys, watch out for spooky ghosts and funny looking folks--

I'm 9 months old!

Like I already mentioned, I've been super duper busy and you'll see why in this post. Me being 9 months old is great. I crawl faster, stand up quicker, climb really well (watch out Mt. Everest, here I come!) and before you know it, I'll be walking! I got some pictures to share so you'll get an idea of what has been up with me.

Zeus. I love chasing her. She is so funny and when she tries to avoid me, it's even more funnier. I never cease to surprise her when I suddenly pop up-- because I can stand up you know? dude!-- and hearing her growl or hiss is hilarious. The poor Kittie has no idea what's ahead of her because I have yet begun my walking days.

I spy a kittie!!

Shoot! That was close.... next time...

I have this neat chair where I get to sit all by myself and eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's really comfortable and there were times when I was ready to snooze in there.

IMG_0320.JPG

I think Zeus agrees with me too...

IMG_0343.JPG

See? It's really comfortable.

Anyway, I reckon that I've been more mobile than ever and eating a lot of real good food thus, I have to change clothes a lot or take baths more often. Sometimes I get to bathe in the kitchen and I totally love it! They got this cool spray thing that goes fssssssssh! and sprays droplet of water all over my face. I squeal in delight when I bathe there.

Daddy pouring water into the sink and the sight is almost captivating.

Off the point but I just got to say this, spatulas are the best thing ever invented:

IMG_0350.JPG

I love chewing on it and banging it with other things because it's mighty and loud and doesn't break too. Speaking of loudness, my Aunty Cat gave me this cool set of musical toys. I get to make music and I love them so much-- as much as the drum Daddy got me.

IMG_0382.JPG

I think I'll have my own band and call it "Elk Bang-Bangs Rocks" what do you think?

I've gotten to participate in a protest to strengthen the Deaf community. I don't want to get too political here but to sum the whole thing into a nutshell= a Deaf university (Gallaudet) now suffers a horribly selected president through a flawed selection process and the students, faculties even deaf people abroad are protesting it. I got to go to my first protest ever, a Tent City by the Bay Area Deaf community. I got to pitch up a tent and give my support to Gallaudet University.

Me sitting on Ma's shoulder and cheering in unison, "Support, support, support!"

My Aunt Kim, remember the Farm Aunty Kim? She went too!

And Aunty Cat-- the whole thing was a fun experience for me.

Okay now let's talk about what really is happening with me at my home...

I love so many things because everything is new, fun, weird, curious and tempting. My abode is filled with toys that seems to appear from nowhere but, none of them interest me as much as obstacle courses, kitchen stuffs and the smelly thing my Cat goes in and out. Let me show you the scenes of my home and you'll see why I'm a very happy explorer:

This is in the bathroom and I haven't made it but soon, when my Parents underestimate me, I'll reach it and chomp down those good looking brown stuff before Ma could dig it out of my mouth!

IMG_0426.JPG

I love this stringy looking thing, it's so tempting that the sensations I get when seeing it is electrifying. Well, I say that because when I go near it, I hear my Parents yelling their heads off (which is quite comical). Still, I can't resist staring at it... I really want to know what's holding those stringy things up in midair....

IMG_0427.JPG

There you go, you could tell me what this smelly thing is called:

IMG_0428.JPG

I just HAVE to be quicker to explore that thing because it makes funny sounds when Zeus goes in there-- and I know curiosity mangled the cat but then, I'm not a cat... right? I confess tho, I did successfully reach it and toss a toy there as an excuse for me to "go in" but dang.. Mama got to me first (and the next thing I remember, I was flying in the air-- Ma carrying me of course-- and my hands were harshly rubbed under warm water with lots soap suds...).

IMG_0411.JPG

Sad to say, that cute book is now lonely resting in a trash bin :(

Anyway, onto happier tidings... the TV set. See, more stringy thingamaties that just got me lured like a fish with a wormy bait, a juicy wormy bait:

IMG_0429.JPG

I must emphasize, my home may look hazardous but it's safe because my Parents are always hovering above me, see this picture as an evidence:

IMG_0371.JPG

Pftt! Ok, onwards to the kitchen!

IMG_0425.JPG

IMG_0361.JPG

IMG_0359.JPG

I told you, the kitchen is really fun! My Parents let me open and close all the doors there (even the big one in our bedroom, I like slamming it shut then banging on the wall, it's really funny that I get to hide from my Parents).

Anyway, here's this major goal of mine, climb this thing and then Mt. Everest next-- they're almost the same:

**Mission Impossible theme in background**

And to close the scenes of my adobe, this is, by far, the best view I get to see everyday:

IMG_0433

My Parents are nutty aren't they?

I think my home will slowly become less tempting as my Parents realize that I'm way too fast, too sturdy and real good at nearly everything. I can see changes by all those toys that pop up in my home. It's like I own the palace...

IMG_0414.JPG

Cool huh? I think I get to have all those stuffs because I'm this cute:

IMG_0423.JPG

Big grin.
