I'm a big brother to Aidan Jonas

Hi! I became a big brother on the 4th of July. My brother Aidan Jonas was born early in the morning on Friday last week. He is now a week old and so far, I'm enjoying him. I cannot get enough of his little feet and laugh every time he yawns (did you know that they aren't born with teeth! Isn't it the funniest thing ever?!).

Aidan looks a lot like my Ma and she's thrilled that there's one that looks like Dad (me) and now looks like her (Aidan).

I'll share pictures with you guys and I'm super excited, curious and thrilled to share my life now with another boy and especially, that he's my bro!




WAAAHHH! :) Mom said I didn't cry at all, Aidan is definitely a little fiery one. He came with a bang though, Ma arrived at the hospital at 4:30 and had him by 6:28am.

Now, few hours later, I came with my grandparents- at first I was very wary but with the second visit, I felt much better and more confident.



Upon meeting Aidan, the first thing I said was "funny! no teeth!"

"He has the same nose as me!" and Grandma is signing "yes, same"



I finally braved my wariness and touched Aidan.




During the second visit, I proudly boasted my new little brother to Mally and Jahren. Here's me saying, "my baby!"

I'm already protective of Aidan. During his follow up appointment, I wouldn't let the doctor touch him at first and yelled at the doctor to give my baby back to Ma! Ma explained that he needed to be checked and that he wasn't going to get hurt. I finally let the doctor look at Aidan without objecting.

I saw Mom putting her thumb in aj's mouth and wanted to try. It was a lot of fun and felt very funny.

Cousin Jahren held Aidan, Mally too. Mally always want to hold Aidan because methinks she has fallen in love with him.



I'm on Mom as she explains to me how Aidan was born. I found it very fascinating, the whole time I thought the baby would come out of her belly button, boy was I wrong?!

Daddy has been a great Dad, he makes sure I am not feeling left out and he also handles Aidan with ease. I'm lucky to have him as my father.



Here's me sleeping like a log surviving the heat!! We've had a long week of heat waves, at Livermore it hit 115 the other day, yikes!
