My Fantastic Weekend

I got to ride in my SnugRide [name of my fancy car seat from Aunty Keri, thanks!!] all weekend long. It was so snug that I slept through most of the rides. Mom and Dad brought me to Palo Alto where all the nice cafes were at. They took me to this great jewish deli/restaruant called Max and the food must have been fabulous. I think my Dad ate so much that he nearly toppled over while Mom was saved from pigging out because she had to feed me while eating. Although she told me that much later, she sat on her left overs when hastily getting in the car and ate it anyways. She also ate her cole slaw with her bare hands. Methinks she was desperate and very hungry at that moment!!

We also got to walk together and went to this uppity coffee cafe that also was the beginning of a hectic chaos or mayhem for my Mom. I don't really know exactly what happened but here is what she wrote down as a list to remind her to tell me when I get older:

"1) Crowded cafe, a couple reluctantly made room for us, even when elk was wailing
2) Spilled coffee with condensed milk onto my pants... which later formed real hard like plastic
3) Elk spit up all over my pants
4) Sat on my food [but it still tasted great]
5) My long jacket's corners dipped in toilet bowl while trying to change elk's diaper on my legs when peeing"

Well, there you go, it's a wee bit cryptic for me but I'm sure all this will be explained when I grow up. My Mom, the photo freak you know, took pictures as well.

Here's Dad, Mom laughed because Daddy had chocolate at the tip of his lips making him look like he had a joker's smile. See me? I'm trying to suck my hands. I've tried to suck anything I can find.

[[mother's note here: Eitan has been in a sucking frenzy, he gets mad if he sucks from me because my milk comes out and he doesn't want milk, he just wants to SUCK!! A paci, a finger, his hands, anything but milk!]]

Here's the picture that shows number 2 on my Mom's list. I do think I vaguely heard her yell 'oh SHEET!' or something like that when she dropped it. I was busy sucking milk out of her to notice anyway.

argh

Well, here's another picture she took of her legs and you'll see her pointing my lovely masterpiece of spewed baby spit (I ate too much, remember? I wanted to suck without milk!! only if she would listen....)

Poor Mom and me! Because she was stuck wearing those pants for hours and wherever she went, she rank of coffee (and I had to smell it). Not just she smelled of coffee, it coursed through her blood, I could tell. She couldn't stop jabbering, moving, walking and even had hyena kind of laughters. Oy.

Well, I have to share this! I live in the Bay Area, right? Well, look!! It snowed on the hills here in Fremont. It is a rarity and of course, it happened at the year I was born. I guess I really am special. I got the picture to be sized huge so you can SEE the snow capping on the hills of Niles, Fremont, Sunol and San Jose... I think.

I also have my favorite toy-- that is, my Dad's headlights hanging from the wall's lamp. I don't know if you remember but I already mentioned it. I love it when Mama pushes it and it swings. Today Dad surprised me and got new batteries therefore, the lights were much more brighter and I shouted at glee at every swing it made. Whee!!

Not only I got something new, my Mama is so thrilled that she got a new Ferrari of her own. Thanks Daddy!!

Here's another adorable picture of me in weird colors!

What was I thinking in that recent picture? I was trying to figure out if the camera my Mom was holding was going to have something jump out of the lens and bite me. Sometimes it scares me!! But, never fear, Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let such thing near me!

Aside from the great weekend, I'm worried about my sister Zeus. She's sick with infection and Mommy has to give her medicines (three of them in fact!). I love my sister-kittie so much and hope she gets better ASAP!! She always cuddle up by me and make sure I'm warm. See?

Well, that's that for now. I'm getting real tired and antsy for my Mom to rock me to lala land. She sometimes sing me this song she wrote:

When I cradle you in my arms
Before the sun rises,
I’m reminiscing those
Feelings of a good loss,
Those carefree days of mine—
Long gone,
But when I look into your eyes
I see devotion,
Adoration and
Wholesome love—
That fills my heart like no other before…
O’ baby, you’re mine—
Mine to keep,
To keep forever.

It always make me smile and coo!

Toodles.
Elk
